Deon Louw

Deon holds a BLC (BA with Law Subjects) from the University of Pretoria and an LLB and Master’s of Law from the University of Stellenbosch. While completing his Master’s, he was also a Junior Lecturer at the Public Law faculty at the University of Stellenbosch.

He spent 12 years in practice, specialising in commercial, criminal and employee-related labour litigation. 

In 2011, he ventured into the Labour Law environment, focusing on the Employer.

Deon has comprehensive knowledge of the labour needs of the employer and training since he started working with a Cape Town Labour Consultancy, and has gained specialised experience in preparation of employment contracts, disciplinary codes, disciplinary and other dismissal requirements and processes (inclusive of ill health and incapacity), assistance with in-house disciplinary enquiries and investigations as well as assistance and representation at the CCMA. 

Furthermore, he develops training material and provides training in the workplace about all aspects of Labour Law

Liselette Loubser

Liselette Loubser

As a graduate of the University of Pretoria, Liselette holds a Master’s Degree in Law with dual specialisation in Tax and Labour Law. 

She also completed a short course in Human Resources Management from Rosebank College and a postgraduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from AFSA through the University of Pretoria. 

After her studies, she decided to venture into the competitive world of sales.  She excelled in this field and, after a few years, decided to find a position where she could combine some of her knowledge with her experience and began working in recruitment. 

Here she was highly successful and was one of the top ten recruitment consultants nationally, for Communicate Personnel.  She decided to start her own company and has been operating it successfully for the last four years. 

This company has been absorbed into Keystone Human Capital, and Liselette and her team will be in charge of all your recruitment needs, as well as facilitating some of our training programmes.

Leon holds a Doctorate in Industrial Psychology. During his career, he spent 13 years as an Academic, of which 10 years were spent as Chairperson of the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of the Western Cape. He is an experienced and accomplished senior Human Resources Practitioner (and registered Industrial/Organisational Psychologist) with a successful track record (over 25 years) in leading and overseeing the HR function, and driving key strategic HR projects in various organisations at both operational and strategic levels.

His areas of expertise in the Labour and Corporate environment include, HR policy & Procedural Development, Development & implementation of Learning and development strategies; Talent Acquisition and Retention; Driving Employment Equity and Transformation strategy; Large-scale Change management projects; Organisational Development; Salary administration & structuring; Performance management; Employment Relations; Conflict handling and Dispute Resolution (CCMA); SA Labour Law (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SD, OHSA; HR information systems; HR metrics & EXCO/Board reports; Managing Career life cycles of employees (Career development).
